Privacy policy

Short version

Hyperhop collects no personal data. There is no account, no advertising and no tracking.

What stays on your device and in your iCloud

Your rounds, badges, streaks, saved articles and settings are stored on your iPhone. If you use iCloud, they are also stored in your own private iCloud storage so they come back on a new device. Only you can read them; we never receive them.

Wikipedia

Articles are loaded directly from Wikipedia and Wikidata, run by the Wikimedia Foundation. These requests reach Wikimedia's servers the way any visit to Wikipedia does, and they carry no account or identifier from Hyperhop. See the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy.

Game Center

If you are signed in to Game Center, your scores for the daily puzzle, the weekly challenge, Time Attack and the weekly league, and the badges you earn, are sent to Apple's Game Center so you and your friends can see them. Online rooms also run through Game Center. Apple's privacy policy applies.

Nearby rooms

Nearby rooms connect iPhones on the same Wi-Fi directly. Only your player name and your moves in the room are shared, and only with the players in that room.

Notifications

If you turn on reminders, they are scheduled on your iPhone. Nothing is sent to us.

Children

Hyperhop does not collect personal data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
